The board of directors or supervisory board of a consular higher education institution is made up of twelve to twenty-four members, including at least one student representative, at least three elected members, two of whom are elected by the teaching staff and one by the other categories of staff, including, where applicable, staff made available to the institution pursuant to V of l’article 43 de la loi n° 2014-1545 du 20 décembre 2014 relative à la simplification de la vie des entreprises et, le cas échéant, le doyen du corps professoral ou toute personne exercçant des fonctions analogues. The election is governed by the last six paragraphs of Article L. 225-28. A Conseil d’Etat decree specifies the conditions required to be an elector and to be eligible for election.
The works council is represented on these councils by a full member of the works council appointed by the works council.
Elected members of these bodies may not receive any remuneration for their duties. Reimbursement of expenses is authorised, subject to justification.
