Article L724-3-2 of the French Commercial code

The termination of office for any reason whatsoever does not preclude the institution of proceedings and the pronouncement of disciplinary sanctions.

In this case, the disciplinary sanctions applicable are:

1° Withdrawal of the honorary office;

2° Ineligibility for a maximum period of ten years;

3° Permanent ineligibility.

La cessation des fonctions pour quelque cause que ce soit ne fait pas obstacle à l’engagement de poursuites et au prononcé de sanctions disciplinaires.

Dans ce cas, les sanctions disciplinaires applicables sont :

1° Le retrait de l’honorariat ;

2° L’inéligibilité pour une durée maximale de dix ans ;

3° L’inéligibilité définitive.
