Article L784-5 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

I.-The provisions of the articles mentioned in the left-hand column of the following table shall apply in French Polynesia, subject to the adaptations mentioned in II, in the wording indicated in the right-hand column of the same table:

II.-For the application of the articles mentioned in the table above:
1° In the first paragraph of article L. 614-1, the words: “and insurance undertakings” are deleted;
2° In the first paragraph of article L. 614-2, the words: “and any proposed Community regulation or directive before its examination by the Council of the European Union” as well as the words: “to the insurance sector,” are deleted.

Article L784-5

I.-Sont applicables en Polynésie française, sous réserve des adaptations mentionnées au II, les dispositions des articles mentionnés dans la colonne de gauche du tableau ci-après, dans leur rédaction indiquée dans la colonne de droite du même tableau :

II.-Pour l’application des articles mentionnés dans le tableau ci-dessus :
1° Au premier alinéa de l’article L. 614-1, les mots : « et les entreprises d’assurance » sont supprimés ;
2° Au premier alinéa de l’article L. 614-2, les mots : « et de toute proposition de règlement ou de directive communautaires avant son examen par le Conseil de l’Union européenne » ainsi que les mots : « au secteur de l’assurance, » sont supprimés.
