Article L812-10 of the French Commercial code

No one may use the title of judicial representative, other than for the mission entrusted to him or her under the first paragraph of II of Article L. 812-2, of III of that same article and of the second paragraph of Article L. 812-6, if he is not registered on the list of judicial representatives.

Any breach of this provision is punishable by the penalties incurred for the offence of usurpation of title provided for by Article 433-17 of the Penal Code.

The same penalties will apply to anyone who uses a name that bears a resemblance likely to cause a misunderstanding in the mind of the public with the title provided for in the first paragraph.

Article L812-10

Nul ne peut faire état du titre de mandataire judiciaire, en dehors de la mission qui lui a été confiée en vertu du premier alinéa du II de l’article L. 812-2, du III de ce même article et du second alinéa de l’article L. 812-6, s’il n’est inscrit sur la liste des mandataires judiciaires.

Toute infraction à cette disposition est punie des peines encourues pour le délit d’usurpation de titre prévu par l’article 433-17 du code pénal.

Est puni des mêmes peines celui qui aura fait usage d’une dénomination présentant une ressemblance de nature à causer une méprise dans l’esprit du public avec le titre prévu au premier alinéa.
