Article L823-6 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

Foreign nationals convicted under Articles L. 823-1, L. 823-2 or L. 823-3 are subject to deportation from French territory:
1° For a maximum of ten years, in the event of conviction under Articles L. 823-1 or L. 823-2;
2° Permanently, in the event of conviction under Article L. 823-3.

Les étrangers condamnés en application des articles L. 823-1, L. 823-2 ou L. 823-3 encourent l’interdiction du territoire français :
1° Pour une durée de dix ans au plus, en cas de condamnation en application des articles L. 823-1 ou L. 823-2 ;
2° A titre définitif, en cas de condamnation en application de l’article L. 823-3.
