Article L824-11 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

A foreigner who is subject to an administrative ban on entry, a ban on returning to French territory, a deportation order or a French territorial ban is liable to three years’ imprisonment for re-entering France without authorisation.
A foreigner convicted under this article is liable to the additional penalty of ten years’ French territorial ban.

Est puni de trois ans d’emprisonnement le fait, pour un étranger faisant l’objet d’une interdiction administrative du territoire, d’une interdiction de retour sur le territoire français, d’une décision d’expulsion ou d’une peine d’interdiction du territoire français, de pénétrer de nouveau sans autorisation en France.
L’étranger condamné en application du présent article encourt la peine complémentaire de dix ans d’interdiction du territoire français.
