Article L824-7 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

It is punishable by one year’s imprisonment for a foreign national under house arrest to fail to comply with the prohibition on being in contact, directly or indirectly, with certain named persons whose behaviour is linked to activities of a terrorist nature, which is prescribed for him or her pursuant to article L. 733-15.

Est puni d’un an d’emprisonnement le fait, pour un étranger assigné à résidence, de ne pas respecter l’interdiction de se trouver en relation, directement ou indirectement, avec certaines personnes nommément désignées dont le comportement est lié à des activités à caractère terroriste, qui lui est prescrite en application de l’article L. 733-15.
