Article LO6213-6 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The following provisions of this code in force on the date of promulgation of the aforementioned organic law no. 2007-223 of 21 February 2007 referred to above:

1° Part One: Book I (single title: Chapters I, III and IV); Book VI (Title II);

2° Part Five: Books IV, VI and VII.

For the application of these provisions to Saint-Barthélemy:

– the reference to communes, départements and regions is replaced by the reference to the collectivity of Saint-Barthélemy;

– the reference to municipal councils, departmental councils and regional councils is replaced by the reference to the territorial council;

– the reference to the mayor, the president of the departmental council and the president of the regional council is replaced by the reference to the president of the territorial council.

Sont applicables à la collectivité de Saint-Barthélemy les dispositions suivantes du présent code en vigueur à la date de promulgation de la loi organique n° 2007-223 du 21 février 2007 précitée :

1° Première partie : livre Ier (titre unique : chapitres Ier, III et IV) ; livre VI (titre II) ;

2° Cinquième partie : livres IV, VI et VII.

Pour l’application de ces dispositions à Saint-Barthélemy :

– la référence aux communes, aux départements et aux régions est remplacée par la référence à la collectivité de Saint-Barthélemy ;

– la référence aux conseils municipaux, aux conseils départementaux et aux conseils régionaux est remplacée par la référence au conseil territorial ;

– la référence au maire, au président du conseil départemental et au président du conseil régional est remplacée par la référence au président du conseil territorial.
