Article LO6343-4 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The Conseil d’Etat shall rule on the conformity of the acts provided for in article LO 6351-2 with regard to the Constitution, organic laws, France’s international commitments and general principles of law.

The Conseil d’Etat gives its ruling within three months of the matter being referred to it. Its decision is published in the Journal officiel de la République française and the Journal officiel de Saint-Martin.

Le Conseil d’Etat statue sur la conformité des actes prévus à l’article LO 6351-2 au regard de la Constitution, des lois organiques, des engagements internationaux de la France et des principes généraux du droit.

Le Conseil d’Etat se prononce dans les trois mois de sa saisine. Sa décision est publiée au Journal officiel de la République française et au Journal officiel de Saint-Martin.
