Article LO6461-20 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The territorial council of Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon may authorise the opening to the public of casinos comprising separate and distinct special premises where certain games of chance are played.

A decree in the Conseil d’Etat shall lay down the rules relating to the procedures for State control of the installation and operation of casinos operated pursuant to the preceding paragraph.

Le conseil territorial de Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon peut autoriser l’ouverture au public de casinos comprenant des locaux spéciaux distincts et séparés où sont pratiqués certains jeux de hasard.

Un décret en Conseil d’Etat fixe les règles relatives aux modalités de contrôle par l’Etat de l’installation et du fonctionnement de casinos exploités en vertu de l’alinéa précédent.
