For a referendum decided by a region, articles R. 1112-11 and R. 1112-12 shall apply. However, the census commission provided for in Article R. 1112-11 includes a person appointed by the president of the regional council in place of the person appointed by the president of the departmental council.
A copy of the minutes of each committee in the departments of the region concerned is sent without delay, in a sealed envelope, to the chairman of the committee responsible for the department in which the capital of the region is located.
The committee responsible for the department in which the capital of the region is located shall carry out the general vote count. It may not amend the results established by each departmental commission. It proclaims the results in public. A copy of the minutes drawn up by the committee is submitted to the representative of the State in the department in which the capital of the region is located.
