The National Accreditation Commission, set up by Article L. 1114-1, is composed as follows:
1° Four ex officio members:
a) The Director General of Health or his representative ;
b) The Director General of Healthcare or his representative; and
c) The Director of Associations, Employment and Training or his representative;
d) The Chairman of the Interministerial Mission of Vigilance and Combat against Sectarian Aberrations or his representative;
2° Ten members, appointed by order of the Minister for Health:
a) One representative of the National Assembly and one representative of the Senate ;
b) One member of the administrative jurisdiction, active or honorary, appointed on the proposal of the vice-president of the administrative jurisdiction;
c) One member of the Court of Cassation, in active service or with honorary status, appointed on the recommendation of the First President of the Court of Cassation;
d) Three persons chosen for their expertise in the field of health or associations and three persons chosen for their experience in the life of associations.
The chairman of the commission is appointed by order of the Minister for Health, from among the members mentioned in 2°.
