Article R1125-19 of the French Public Health Code

When the research project is carried out in the context of medically assisted procreation, the Data Protection Committee shall call upon the expertise of at least one practitioner mentioned in the fifth paragraph of Article L. 2142-1 and a paediatrician if the Committee does not include such a specialist. These specialists take part in Committee meetings for the purposes of the research in question and in deliberations relating to this research.

Lorsque le projet de recherche est mené dans le cadre d’une assistance médicale à la procréation, le comité de protection des personnes s’adjoint la compétence d’au moins un praticien mentionné au cinquième alinéa de l’article L. 2142-1 et d’un pédiatre si le comité ne comprend pas en son sein un tel spécialiste. Ces spécialistes prennent part aux séances du comité pour les besoins de la recherche considérée ainsi qu’aux délibérations relatives à cette recherche.
