In the case provided for in Article R. 1142-15-2, the parties concerned and the insurers of the parties implicated are notified by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt of the date on which the commission is to meet in order to give the opinion provided for in Article L. 1142-8. The expert report shall be sent to them before the committee meets.
At any time, the parties shall be informed, at their request, of the status of the proceedings.
The parties shall be heard at their request or at the request of the Commission. They may be assisted or represented by a person of their choice.
The Commission may hear the expert(s) it has appointed.
The opinion of the Commission provided for in article L. 1142-8 specifies for each head of loss the circumstances, causes, nature and extent of the damage suffered and its assessment of the liabilities incurred. It indicates whether the damage meets the conditions set out in article L. 1142-1-1.
It also states whether or not the victim’s condition has been consolidated by the date it is issued.
