Article R1173-9 of the French Public Health Code

If the administration does not respond to an application for renewal of the authorisation within two months, the application is deemed to have been accepted.

The application for renewal must be submitted by the holder of the authorisation no later than six months before it expires. Failing this, the application will be processed as a new application for accreditation and the sports and health centre will no longer be able to use its accreditation after its expiry date and until the date on which it obtains new accreditation, in particular by using the logo and signage mentioned in article R. 1173-7.

Article R1173-9
