Article R1213-15 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The elections of the members of the National Council may be contested before the Council of State by any elector, by the candidates and by the Minister responsible for local and regional authorities, within ten days of the publication of the results in the Official Journal.

The election of the chairman and each of the vice-chairmen may be contested before the Council of State, by any member of the National Council and by the Minister responsible for local and regional authorities, within ten days of the meeting during which this election took place.

Les élections des membres du conseil national peuvent être contestées devant le Conseil d’Etat par tout électeur, par les candidats et par le ministre chargé des collectivités territoriales, dans les dix jours qui suivent la publication des résultats au Journal officiel.

L’élection du président et de chacun des vice-présidents peut être contestée devant le Conseil d’Etat, par tout membre du conseil national et par le ministre chargé des collectivités territoriales, dans les dix jours qui suivent la séance au cours de laquelle cette élection est intervenue.
