Article R1221-28 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The Orientation Council proposes to the National Council a directory of training courses related to the exercise of the mandate of local elected representatives. This directory determines the scope of the training courses that are particularly suited to the mandate. It specifies the educational areas covered and the skills to which the training courses should contribute.

Le conseil d’orientation propose au conseil national un répertoire des formations liées à l’exercice du mandat des élus locaux. Ce répertoire détermine le périmètre des formations qui sont particulièrement adaptées au mandat. Il précise les domaines pédagogiques qui en relèvent, et les compétences à l’acquisition desquelles les formations doivent contribuer.
