Article R1222-9-3 of the French Public Health Code

The President of the Etablissement Français du Sang appoints one or more interim persons in charge at the same time as the person in charge. For the period of the replacement, the interim person in charge is granted the same powers and responsibilities as those granted to the person in charge and must exercise them effectively for the duration of the replacement.

The temporary responsible person must meet the conditions of qualification and experience mentioned in article R. 1222-9-2.

Le président de l’Etablissement français du sang désigne en même temps que la personne responsable une ou plusieurs personnes responsables intérimaires. La personne responsable intérimaire se voit conférer pour la période de remplacement les mêmes pouvoirs et attributions que ceux conférés à la personne responsable et doit les exercer effectivement pendant la durée du remplacement.

La personne responsable intérimaire doit répondre aux conditions de qualification et d’expérience mentionnées à l’article R. 1222-9-2.
