Article R123-13 of the French Commercial code

The single body may not keep beyond a period of three years the declarations whose information is intended to be entered in the National Register of Companies, as well as the documents relating thereto. Declarations for which the information is not entered in the National Register of Companies and, where applicable, documents relating to authorisation procedures, are kept for the periods necessary for the transmission provided for in Article R. 123-7.

L’organisme unique ne peut conserver au-delà d’un délai de trois ans les déclarations dont les renseignements sont destinés à être inscrits au Registre national des entreprises, ainsi que les pièces relatives à celles-ci. Les déclarations dont les renseignements ne sont pas inscrits au Registre national des entreprises ainsi que, le cas échéant, les pièces relatives aux procédures d’autorisations, sont conservées dans des délais nécessaires à la transmission prévue à l’article R. 123-7.
