Article R123-199 of the French Commercial code

The figures in the notes to the financial statements are, unless there is a duly justified exception, determined in accordance with the same principles and methods as those used to draw up the balance sheet and profit and loss account.

They relate to all of the company’s activities regardless of where they are carried out. They are verifiable by reconciliation with supporting documents.

Figures that already appear in the balance sheet or income statement may be omitted from the notes.

Les éléments chiffrés de l’annexe sont, sauf exception dûment justifiée, déterminés selon les mêmes principes et les mêmes méthodes que pour l’établissement du bilan et du compte de résultat.

Ils concernent l’ensemble des activités de l’entreprise quel que soit le lieu de leur exercice. Ils sont vérifiables par rapprochement avec des documents justificatifs.

Les éléments chiffrés qui figurent déjà au bilan ou au compte de résultat peuvent être omis dans l’annexe.
