When, in order to prove identity, the declarant produces a national identity card, passport or residence permit, issued by the French authorities, the court clerk verifies that it is valid within the meaning of Article 3 of the Order of 10 August 2016 authorising the creation of an automated personal data processing operation called “DOCVERIF”.
Where the verification reveals that the document is not valid, the court clerk shall request, within one clear day, the production of an identity document included in the list of supporting documents set by the order provided for in Article R. 123-166, to be provided within fifteen days of this claim.
Upon receipt of this document and after verification of its validity pursuant to the first paragraph, the registrar shall proceed with the registration within the period mentioned in the first paragraph of article R. 123-97.
