Article R1241-10 of the French Public Health Code

Each of the persons vested with parental authority or, where applicable, the minor’s guardian, expresses his or her consent before the president of the judicial court or his or her delegate under the conditions defined in articles R. 1231-2 and R. 1231-3.

In the event of a life-threatening emergency, the consent of each of the persons vested with parental authority or, where applicable, the minor’s guardian, is obtained by the public prosecutor under the conditions defined in article R. 1231-4.

Article R1241-10

Chacune des personnes investies de l’autorité parentale ou le cas échéant le tuteur du mineur exprime son consentement devant le président du tribunal judiciaire ou son délégué dans les conditions définies aux articles R. 1231-2 et R. 1231-3.

En cas d’urgence vitale, le consentement de chacune des personnes investies de l’exercice de l’autorité parentale ou le cas échéant du tuteur du mineur est recueilli par le procureur de la République dans les conditions définies à l’article R. 1231-4.
