Article R1242-14 of the French Public Health Code

For the application of the provisions of this chapter, army hospitals and the army blood transfusion centre shall be regarded as public health establishments and a blood transfusion establishment respectively.

For these hospitals and for this centre, the Minister for Defence exercises the powers of the Director General of the Regional Health Agency.

Pour l’application des dispositions du présent chapitre, les hôpitaux des armées et le centre de transfusion sanguine des armées sont regardés respectivement comme des établissements publics de santé et comme un établissement de transfusion sanguine.

Pour ces hôpitaux et pour ce centre, le ministre de la défense exerce les attributions du directeur général de l’agence régionale de santé.
