Article R131-38 of the French Commercial code

Where there is a dispute between sworn goods brokers, each may summon the other party to appear before the office of the National Council of Sworn Goods Brokers by simple letter, the original of which is deposited with the secretariat and a copy, stamped by the President of the National Council, sent by the secretary to the sworn goods broker summoned.

The time limit for appearing is at least eight days.

Lorsqu’il existe un différend entre courtiers de marchandises assermentés, chacun peut faire citer l’autre partie devant le bureau du Conseil national des courtiers de marchandises assermentés sur simple lettre, dont l’original est déposé au secrétariat et une copie, visée par le président du Conseil national, envoyée par le secrétaire au courtier de marchandises assermenté appelé.

Le délai pour comparaître est d’au moins huit jours.
