Article R1321-16 of the French Public Health Code

The programme of analyses of water samples taken from production and distribution facilities may be modified by the Director General of the Regional Health Agency, on his own initiative or at the request of the Prefect, and in accordance with the procedures laid down by the Ministerial Order referred to in article R. 1321-15, if the conditions for the protection of the water catchment and the operation of the facilities, the checks carried out and the quality of the water so require or allow.

Article R1321-16

Le programme d’analyses des échantillons d’eau prélevés dans les installations de production et de distribution peut être modifié par le directeur général de l’agence régionale de santé, à son initiative ou à la demande du préfet, et selon les modalités prévues par l’arrêté ministériel mentionné à l’article R. 1321-15, si les conditions de protection du captage de l’eau et du fonctionnement des installations, les vérifications effectuées et la qualité de l’eau le nécessitent ou le permettent.
