Article R1321-22 of the French Public Health Code

Approved laboratories send the results of their analyses to the Director General of the Regional Health Agency, who forwards them to the Prefect with his comments and to the person responsible for producing, distributing or packaging the water.

The Prefect shall make available to the mayors, chairmen of public establishments for inter-communal cooperation and mixed syndicates concerned the results of analyses of the quality of water supplied by a public distribution service carried out as part of health checks.

Les laboratoires agréés adressent les résultats des analyses auxquelles ils procèdent au directeur général de l’agence régionale de santé qui les transmet au préfet avec ses observations et à la personne responsable de la production, de la distribution ou du conditionnement d’eau.

Le préfet met à la disposition des maires, des présidents d’établissements publics de coopération intercommunale et des syndicats mixtes concernés les résultats d’analyses de la qualité des eaux fournies par un service public de distribution réalisées dans le cadre du contrôle sanitaire.
