Article R1321-58 of the French Public Health Code

The piezometric height of the water distributed by the indoor networks mentioned in 3° of article R. 1321-43 must, for each network and at any point where it is made available, be at least equal to three metres at peak consumption time.

When the networks serve buildings with more than six storeys, pressure boosters and pressure tanks complying with the provisions of article R. 1321-55 may be used.

The provisions of this article do not apply to distribution systems existing before 7 April 1995.

La hauteur piézométrique de l’eau distribuée par les réseaux intérieurs mentionnés au 3° de l’article R. 1321-43 doit, pour chaque réseau et en tout point de mise à disposition, être au moins égale à trois mètres, à l’heure de pointe de consommation.

Lorsque les réseaux desservent des immeubles de plus de six étages, des surpresseurs et des réservoirs de mise sous pression, conformes aux dispositions de l’article R. 1321-55, peuvent être mis en oeuvre.

Les dispositions du présent article ne sont pas applicables aux installations de distribution existant avant le 7 avril 1995.
