Article R1322-26 of the French Public Health Code

In the presence of the interested parties, tracing, gauging and any other investigations deemed useful to establish the influence of the work that gave rise to the request for prohibition on the hydrogeological regime of the spring and on the composition of its water shall be carried out. A detailed report is drawn up and signed jointly by the parties. The Prefect decides in accordance with the provisions of article L. 1322-5.

Il est procédé, en présence des parties intéressées, aux opérations de traçage, de jaugeage et à toutes autres investigations jugées utiles pour établir l’influence des travaux qui ont donné lieu à la demande d’interdiction sur le régime hydrogéologique de la source et sur la composition de ses eaux. Il est dressé un procès-verbal détaillé signé conjointement par les parties. Le préfet statue conformément aux dispositions de l’article L. 1322-5.
