Article R1322-28 of the French Public Health Code

The installations intended for the exploitation of natural mineral water are designed, constructed and maintained in such a way as to avoid any possibility of contamination or modification of the essential characteristics of the water as it emerges. They include suitable devices for monitoring the quantity and quality of the water, on a permanent and recorded basis.

Operating conditions must meet hygiene requirements and must not be harmful to health.

Les installations destinées à l’exploitation d’une eau minérale naturelle sont conçues, réalisées et entretenues de façon à éviter toute possibilité de contamination ou de modification des caractéristiques essentielles de l’eau telle qu’elle se présente à l’émergence. Elles comportent des dispositifs adéquats de suivi quantitatif et qualitatif de l’eau, permanent et enregistré.

Les conditions d’exploitation satisfont aux exigences de l’hygiène et ne doivent pas porter atteinte à la santé.
