Each spa establishment must possess and maintain in perfect working order the installations and equipment corresponding to the medical indications of the spa. The size of this equipment is proportional to the number of clients attending the establishment.
Spa establishments with several classes must have, in each of these classes, all the installations necessary for the complete execution of the cure, as well as all the material and equipment allowing the application of all the treatments without exception.
The same rigorous hygiene measures must be applied in all classes.
Equipment intended for individual use must be disinfected each time it is used.
Establishments intended for the treatment of respiratory diseases must have a sufficient number of spittoons with running water, permanently sanitised and kept strictly clean, in all rooms where they are required.
The linen used by each patient must be disinfected after use, as well as the baths and all individual treatment items.
Sound and light signals must indicate the start and end of treatments.
The establishment must be equipped with a sufficient number of changing rooms to reduce waiting times for patients to a minimum.
