Article R1322-63 of the French Public Health Code

Before taking up their duties, all members of staff must undergo a general medical examination comprising in particular :

– a chest x-ray or radiophotograph, unless an x-ray less than two months old can be provided ;

– a tuberculin skin test.

In addition, employees are required to undergo a clinical examination every year, following which the occupational physician may prescribe any further investigations he deems necessary.

Avant son entrée en fonctions, tout membre du personnel doit être soumis à un examen médical général comportant notamment :

– une radiographie ou une radiophotographie pulmonaire à moins qu’un cliché datant de moins de deux mois ne puisse être fourni ;

– une épreuve cutanée à la tuberculine.

En outre, les agents sont tenus de subir chaque année un examen clinique à la suite duquel le médecin du travail peut prescrire les investigations complémentaires qu’il juge nécessaires.
