All necessary measures are taken to prevent the proliferation of animals that are a nuisance to human health, in particular bedbugs, in residential premises and, if necessary and as a matter of urgency, to remedy the situation, in particular by clearing, cleaning, disinfecting, rodent-removal and disinsectisation of premises using biological or physical processes.
The treatment of residential premises with a view to deodorising, disinfecting or disinsectising them using processes which introduce noxious or toxic products into the air, in particular formaldehyde or ozone, or which emit radiation, in particular ultraviolet radiation, may not be carried out when the premises are occupied and must be followed by ventilation before the premises are occupied again.
