Article R1331-49 of the French Public Health Code

The demolition of a building is preceded by a rat and pigeon control operation.

If this demolition reveals the presence of dangerous solid or liquid products, in particular vats or tanks containing flammable or toxic liquids, it is halted until these products are removed and the installations are neutralised by decontamination or removed.

La démolition d’un bâtiment est précédée d’une opération de dératisation et de dépigeonnisation.

Si cette démolition révèle la présence de produits dangereux, solides ou liquides, notamment des cuves ou réservoirs contenant des liquides inflammables ou toxiques, elle est interrompue jusqu’à ce que ces produits soient enlevés et que ces installations soient neutralisées par dépollution ou déposées.
