Article R1333-75 of the French Public Health Code

The provisions of this sub-section apply to radiological examinations carried out on persons with no medical indication justifying such an examination. These examinations concern in particular those carried out :

1° For preventive purposes, as part of occupational medicine or sports medicine ;

2° For the purpose of identifying objects or narcotics concealed in the human body.

These examinations may only be carried out by the health professionals mentioned in the 1st paragraph of I of article R. 1333-68.

Les dispositions de la présente sous-section s’appliquent aux examens radiologiques réalisés chez des personnes ne présentant pas d’indication médicale justifiant un tel examen. Ces examens concernent notamment ceux réalisés à :

1° Titre de prévention, dans le cadre de la médecine du travail ou de la médecine sportive ;

2° Des fins de contrôle destiné à identifier des objets ou des produits stupéfiants dissimulés dans le corps humain.

Ces examens ne peuvent être réalisés que par les professionnels de santé mentionnés au 1er alinéa du I de l’article R. 1333-68.
