Article R1333-83 of the French Public Health Code

Before deciding to implement measures to protect the population in order to reduce exposure as low as reasonably possible, the State representative in the département takes into account :

1° The support, information and advice provided in application of III of article R. 1333-86 ;

2° The reference level mentioned in II of article R. 1333-82;

3° The harm associated with the implementation of the planned measures in relation to the expected benefit.

Avant de décider de mettre œuvre des mesures de protection des populations permettant de réduire aussi bas que raisonnablement possible les expositions, le représentant de l’Etat dans le département tient compte :

1° Des appuis, informations et avis fournis en application du III de l’article R. 1333-86 ;

2° Du niveau de référence mentionné au II de l’article R. 1333-82 ;

3° Du préjudice associé à la mise en œuvre des mesures envisagées au regard du bénéfice attendu.
