Article R1334-6 of the French Public Health Code

When a risk of exposure to lead within the meaning of article R. 1334-3 is identified, the emergency procedure referred to in article L. 511-19 of the French Construction and Housing Code is applied.

The period within which the work must be carried out is limited to one month, except in cases where, within the same period, all or some of the occupants are accommodated outside the premises concerned. In this case, the deadline for carrying out the work is extended to a maximum of three months.

Lorsqu’il est constaté un risque d’exposition au plomb au sens de l’article R. 1334-3, il est fait application de la procédure d’urgence mentionnée à l’article L. 511-19 du code de la construction et de l’habitation.


Le délai dans lequel doivent être réalisés les travaux est limité à un mois, sauf dans le cas où, dans ce même délai, est assuré l’hébergement de tout ou partie des occupants hors des locaux concernés. Le délai de réalisation des travaux est alors porté à trois mois maximum.
