Article R1337-14 of the French Public Health Code

Appointments made pursuant to Articles R. 1333-168 and R. 1333-169 shall terminate on the date on which the official ceases the duties he was performing at the time of his appointment or by decision of the appointing authority taken in the same manner as the appointment. Any officer who no longer has the status of radiation protection inspector or who is temporarily or permanently prohibited, pursuant to Article 227 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, from carrying out his duties as a judicial police officer must immediately return his professional card to the authority that designated him.

Les désignations faites en application des articles R. 1333-168 et R. 1333-169 prennent fin à compter de la date à laquelle l’agent cesse les fonctions qu’il exerçait au moment de sa désignation ou par décision de l’autorité qui l’a désigné prise dans les mêmes formes que la désignation. L’agent qui n’a plus la qualité d’inspecteur de la radioprotection ou à qui il est interdit, en application de l’article 227 du code de procédure pénale, d’exercer temporairement ou définitivement ses fonctions d’agent de police judiciaire est tenu de remettre sans délai sa carte professionnelle à l’autorité qui l’a désigné.
