Article R134-12 of the French Commercial code

The place and number of registration in the special register appear on the documents and correspondence used for professional purposes by the interested party.

If the commercial agent has set up an assigned asset pursuant to article L. 526-6, it also includes the purpose of the professional activity to which the assets are assigned and the name incorporating the surname or usual name immediately preceded or followed by the words: “entrepreneur individuel à responsabilité limitée” or the initials: “EIRL”.

If the commercial agent is a sole trader covered by the status defined in Section 3 of Chapter VI of Title II of Book V, it also includes the name incorporating his surname or usual name immediately preceded or followed by the words: “entrepreneur individuel” or the initials: “EI”.

Le lieu et le numéro de l’immatriculation au registre spécial figurent sur les documents et correspondances à usage professionnel de l’intéressé.

Si l’agent commercial a constitué un patrimoine affecté en application de l’article L. 526-6, y figurent également l’objet de l’activité professionnelle à laquelle le patrimoine est affecté et la dénomination incorporant le nom ou nom d’usage précédé ou suivi immédiatement des mots : ” entrepreneur individuel à responsabilité limitée ” ou des initiales : ” EIRL “.

Si l’agent commercial est un entrepreneur individuel relevant du statut défini à la section 3 du chapitre VI du titre II du livre V, y figure également la dénomination incorporant son nom ou nom d’usage précédé ou suivi immédiatement des mots : “ entrepreneur individuel ” ou des initiales : “ EI ”.
