Article R1432-66 of the French Public Health Code

The Director General of the Regional Health Agency may reach a settlement.

He shall represent the State before the administrative court and the administrative court of appeal in all disputes relating to decisions taken by it pursuant to the first paragraph of article L. 1432-2.

In disputes relating to acts it takes on behalf of the State, the Regional Health Agency is exempt from the need to be represented by a lawyer, as provided for in articles R. 431-7 and R. 811-10 of the Code of Administrative Justice.

Le directeur général de l’agence régionale de santé peut transiger.

Il représente l’Etat devant le tribunal administratif et la cour administrative d’appel dans tous les litiges relatifs aux décisions qu’il prend en application du premier alinéa de l’article L. 1432-2.

Dans les litiges relatifs aux actes qu’elle prend au nom de l’Etat, l’agence régionale de santé bénéficie de la dispense du ministère d’avocat prévue aux articles R. 431-7 et R. 811-10 du code de justice administrative.
