Article R1435-12 of the French Public Health Code

An employee of the regional health agency may only be appointed as an inspector or controller if he or she fulfils the following conditions:

1° He or she must be a French national;

2° He or she must enjoy his or her civic rights and be in good standing with regard to the national service code;

3° He or she must not have been convicted of a criminal offence which has become final and which is incompatible with the performance of these duties.

Un agent de l’agence régionale de santé ne peut être désigné en qualité d’inspecteur ou de contrôleur que s’il remplit les conditions suivantes :

1° Etre de nationalité française ;

2° Jouir de ses droits civiques et se trouver en position régulière au regard du code du service national ;

3° Ne pas avoir fait l’objet d’une condamnation pénale devenue définitive à une peine incompatible avec l’exercice de ces fonctions.
