The Director General of the Regional Health Agency for the zone defined in article L. 1435-2 assists the Prefect of the Defence and Security Zone mentioned in article L. 1311-1 of the Defence Code.
For the application of the provisions of article L. 1435-2, the Director General of the Regional Health Agency for the zone participates in the preparation and, where appropriate, the implementation of national defence and security measures taken by the zone Prefect.
To this end, in the exercise of his duties to lead and coordinate the activities of all the regional health agencies in the defence and security zone, the Chief Executive Officer of the regional health agency for the zone sends the guidelines and priorities for action to the Chief Executive Officers of the other health agencies in the defence and security zone.
The Director General of the regional health agency for the zone and the Prefect of the defence and security zone shall inform each other immediately of any health event of which they are aware that presents a risk to the health of the population or is likely to present a risk of disturbance to public order when this corresponds to the situations provided for in article R. * 1311-7 of the defence code.
