Article R15-33-24 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The commission issued pursuant to Article 29-1 by the owner or holder of usage rights, hereinafter referred to as the principal, specifies the territory or territories that the private security guard is responsible for guarding, as well as the nature of the offences that he is responsible for recording pursuant to the provisions that authorise him to do so.

When the principal withdraws the commission of a private security guard he employs, he shall immediately inform the prefect, who shall terminate the authorisation.

Article R15-33-24

La commission délivrée en application de l’article 29-1 par le propriétaire ou le titulaire de droits d’usage, ci-après dénommé le commettant, précise le ou les territoires que le garde particulier est chargé de surveiller, ainsi que la nature des infractions qu’il est chargé de constater en application des dispositions qui l’y autorisent.

Lorsque le commettant retire la commission d’un garde particulier qu’il emploie, il en informe sans délai le préfet qui met fin à l’agrément.
