Article R15-33-74 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The judicial police officer notes receipt of the information requested in the report and either prints it out on paper or saves it in full on a digital medium that complies with the technical standards in force at the time of transmission.

This document or medium is attached to the report. If a digital medium is established, a copy of this medium is placed under seal.

The operations provided for in Article R. 15-33-71 and this Article may be the subject of a single report.

L’officier de police judiciaire constate la réception des informations demandées par procès-verbal et procède soit à leur impression sur un document papier, soit à leur sauvegarde intégrale sur un support numérique conforme aux standards techniques en vigueur au moment de la transmission.

Ce document ou ce support est annexé au procès-verbal. Si un support numérique est établi, une copie de ce support est placée sous scellés.

Les opérations prévues à l’article R. 15-33-71 et au présent article peuvent faire l’objet d’un procès-verbal unique.
