Article R1511-38 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The percentage of each financial facility guaranteed by the credit institution or finance company either from its own funds or from those of the guarantee funds set up with it may not exceed 50%.

The guarantee of the credit institution or finance company combined with that of the local authorities may not exceed 50% of the total amount of each financial assistance, except for the transactions referred to in articles L. 2252-2, L. 3231-4-1 et L. 4253-2.

La quotité de chaque concours financier garantie par l’établissement de crédit ou la société de financement soit sur ses fonds propres, soit sur ceux des fonds de garantie constitués auprès de lui ne peut excéder 50 %.

La garantie de l’établissement de crédit ou de la société de financement cumulée avec celle des collectivités territoriales ne peut excéder 50 % du montant total de chaque concours financier, sauf pour les opérations visées aux articles L. 2252-2, L. 3231-4-1 et L. 4253-2.
