Article R1511-41-1 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

In the case of the creation of a new cinematographic entertainment establishment, the future operator of the establishment produces a file in support of its application comprising:

<1° The company's articles of association;

2° A description of the equipment envisaged and the planned capacity of the establishment;

3° Provisional operating accounts for the first two years of operation;

4° A market study indicating the estimated average projected number of admissions over the first two years of operation as well as the interest of the project for the territory;

5° The cinematographic project as provided for in 6° of Article R. 1511-41 as well as the detailed programming project, particularly with regard to the showing of arthouse cinematographic works.

En cas de création d’un nouvel établissement de spectacle cinématographique, le futur exploitant de l’établissement produit à l’appui de sa demande un dossier comprenant :


1° Les statuts de l’exploitation ;


2° Une description de l’équipement envisagé et de la capacité prévue de l’établissement ;


3° Les comptes d’exploitation prévisionnels des deux premières années d’exploitation ;


4° Une étude de marché indiquant le nombre d’entrées prévisionnel moyen estimé sur les deux premières années d’exploitation ainsi que l’intérêt du projet pour le territoire ;


5° Le projet cinématographique tel que prévu au 6° de l’article R. 1511-41 ainsi que le projet de programmation détaillé notamment en matière de diffusion d’œuvres cinématographiques d’art et d’essai.
