Article R1614-34 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

Agreements between the State and the department may provide for:

1° The transmission of computer media that comply with the specifications of national information systems, in place of standardised documents;

2° The adaptation of standardised documents to the department’s own statistical needs and the joint production of specific statistics.

Des conventions passées entre l’Etat et le département peuvent prévoir :

1° La transmission de supports informatiques conformes aux spécifications des systèmes d’information nationaux, en remplacement des documents normalisés ;

2° L’adaptation des documents normalisés aux besoins statistiques propres du département et la réalisation conjointe de statistiques particulières.
