Article R1614-74 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The right to compensation for 1984 is initially the subject of a provisional assessment on the basis of estimates made by the prefect, after consulting the competent authorities for the organisation of school transport, taking into account, as the case may be, the results of the 1982-1983 school year or the information already available concerning the 1983-1984 school year. An adjustment is made as soon as the data for the 1983-1984 school year is known.

Le droit à compensation pour 1984 fait l’objet dans un premier temps d’une évaluation provisoire sur la base d’estimations faites par le préfet, après avis des autorités compétentes pour l’organisation des transports scolaires, en tenant compte, selon le cas, des résultats de l’année scolaire 1982-1983 ou des informations déjà disponibles concernant l’année scolaire 1983-1984. Une régularisation est effectuée dès que sont connues les données de l’année scolaire 1983-1984.
