Article R2-13 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

This training is provided by :

– one or more judges from the courts within the jurisdiction of the court of appeal, appointed by the first president;

– one or more prosecutors from the courts within the jurisdiction of the court of appeal, appointed by the public prosecutor;

– a lawyer appointed by the president of the bar association of the judicial court at the seat of which the training course is organised or, if the presidents of the bar associations concerned agree on this point, a lawyer belonging to the bar association of another court to which the training course is common.

Article R2-13

Cette formation est dispensée par :

― un ou plusieurs magistrats du siège des juridictions du ressort de la cour d’appel, désignés par le premier président ;

― un ou plusieurs magistrats du ministère public des juridictions du ressort de la cour d’appel, désignés par le procureur général ;

― un avocat désigné par le bâtonnier de l’ordre des avocats du tribunal judiciaire au siège duquel la formation est organisée ou, si les bâtonniers des ordres concernés s’accordent sur ce point, un avocat appartenant au barreau d’un autre tribunal auquel la formation est commune.
