Article R210 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The only printouts that must be paid for as legal costs are:

1° That of publications or insertions of press releases, relating to decisions to dismiss cases, which are ordered by the examining magistrate or the investigating chamber pursuant to the articles 177-1 and 212-1 ;

2° Those of the individual reports of arrested persons in exceptional cases where the sending of such reports would have been recognised as essential;

3° That of the review judgment or ruling resulting in the innocence of a convicted person and the posting of which is prescribed by Article 626, paragraphs 9 and 10.

Les seules impressions qui doivent être payées à titre de frais de justice sont :

1° Celle des publications ou insertions de communiqué, relatives à des décisions de non-lieu, qui sont ordonnées par le juge d’instruction ou la chambre de l’instruction en application des articles 177-1 et 212-1 ;

2° Celles des signalements individuels de personnes arrêtées dans les cas exceptionnels où l’envoi de ces signalements aurait été reconnu indispensable ;

3° Celle de l’arrêt ou du jugement de révision d’où résulte l’innocence d’un condamné et dont l’affichage est prescrit par l’article 626, alinéas 9 et 10.
