Article R2131-12 of the French Public Health Code

Each centre consists of :

1° A team of practitioners comprising at least :

a) A doctor practising on the site mentioned in 1° of article R. 2131-11, holding a diploma of specialised studies in gynaecology-obstetrics or an equivalent diploma ;

b) A practitioner practising on this site, with training and experience in foetal ultrasound ;

c) A doctor practising on this site who holds a diploma in paediatrics or an equivalent diploma and a diploma in neonatology or an equivalent diploma;

d) A doctor holding a diploma of specialised studies in medical genetics or an equivalent diploma;

2° The team referred to in 1° is completed by persons who may not have any activity in the organisation or health establishment within which the centre is set up, including at least :

a) A doctor holding a specialised diploma in psychiatry or an equivalent diploma, or a psychologist ;

b) A doctor holding a diploma of complementary specialised studies in foetopathology or an equivalent diploma or equivalent experience;

c) A practitioner mentioned in VII of article L. 2131-1 ;

d) A genetic counsellor.

The multidisciplinary team thus formed may call on the assistance of other persons with skills or experience useful in carrying out the tasks defined in article R. 2131-10.

Article R2131-12

Chaque centre est constitué :

1° D’une équipe de praticiens comportant au moins :

a) Un médecin exerçant sur le site mentionné au 1° de l’article R. 2131-11, titulaire du diplôme d’études spécialisées de gynécologie-obstétrique ou d’un diplôme équivalent ;

b) Un praticien exerçant sur ce site, justifiant d’une formation et d’une expérience en échographie du fœtus ;

c) Un médecin exerçant sur ce site, titulaire du diplôme d’études spécialisées de pédiatrie ou d’un diplôme équivalent et d’un diplôme d’études spécialisées complémentaires de néonatologie ou d’un diplôme équivalent ;

d) Un médecin titulaire du diplôme d’études spécialisées de génétique médicale ou d’un diplôme équivalent ;

2° L’équipe mentionnée au 1° est complétée par des personnes pouvant ne pas avoir d’activité dans l’organisme ou l’établissement de santé au sein duquel le centre est créé, dont au moins :

a) Un médecin titulaire du diplôme d’études spécialisées de psychiatrie ou d’un diplôme équivalent ou un psychologue ;

b) Un médecin titulaire du diplôme d’études spécialisées complémentaires de fœtopathologie ou d’un diplôme équivalent ou d’une expérience équivalente ;

c) Un praticien mentionné au VII de l’article L. 2131-1 ;

d) Un conseiller en génétique.

L’équipe pluridisciplinaire ainsi constituée peut s’adjoindre le concours d’autres personnes possédant des compétences ou une expérience utiles à l’exercice des missions définies à l’article R. 2131-10.
